Talking about death and dying is never easy. Yet talking about it won’t make it happen, and could make a real difference to the quality of your last days, when the time comes. I know from my own family the benefits of thinking ahead and being able to die in your preferred place. A positive experience at the end can make things a little easier for everyone.
May 13th-19th 2019 marks Dying Matters awareness week, where I’ll be joining many local people and organisations to encourage everyone to talk about these sensitive, but important topics. I’m delighted that so many organisations in Reading are getting involved in the campaign this year, and invite everyone to come along and talk, and find out how they can prepare .
