There’s one day on which everyone in Reading West has the same power, and the same voice. That’s election day. That’s why registering to vote and then using it is so important. Make sure you are signed up to vote here and make a plan for how you will vote – whether by post, proxy or by going to the polling station on election day.

As the coordinator of Reading’s Vote 100 celebrations, to mark 100 years of women’s suffrage in the UK, I’m particularly encouraging women to sign up to vote and I’m also working across the community to help mark those celebrations.
