Parliamentary candidate selection – shortlist

Old news now but for the record:
READING’S Labour Party has finalised its shortlists of potential parliamentary candidates for the next General Election.
The Reading West shortlist is made up of women only and features Buckinghamshire councillor, Victoria Groulef, party activist Christine Quigley and former Reading borough councillor, Debbie Watson.
Party members will vote for who they want to contest the seat, held by Tory Alok Sharma.
In Reading East, Reading borough councillors Richard Davies, Matt Rodda and Paul Woodward are among the candidates, along with Slough Labour Party member, Angela Pober, and Slough borough councillor, James Walsh.
The seat is held by Conservative MP, Rob Wilson.

I was one of those who interviewed candidates for the shortlist in West on Sunday.  I believe that the one who gets the selection will be our next MP.
