I was emailed earlier in the week by the national charity, the Survivor’s Trust that is setting up the new Sexual Abuse Survivors’ Centre, that we were so excited to
get funding for earlier in the year.

They are now recruiting for some of the key posts! (If you are interested you can find out more here)
This is really exciting news, and makes our dream of a support centre for anyone who has suffered sexual abuse or rape in Reading seem one step closer. They are aiming to open in the new year.
In the mean time we are continuing to fund raise for extras for the centre and to supplement the grant. Sinaed Gibson is organising a raffle to be held at the Albion Pub on the Oxford Road, on 21st July, if you have any prizes you can donate please get in touch – unwanted presents etc welcome!
