I’ve been amazed by Cameron’s response to the questions at PMQs today. It’s not so much about U-turns or House of Lords reform but the shocking fact that this is the slowest recovery in modern British history – slower than even the 1930s. Being in denial about this isn’t going to help the government or the country. This graph from NIESR shows the trend started to go particularly awry 2 years ago.
It’s about time the government started to make things better not worse.
